Treatment and Feeling

Affirmation

I know and feel in every fiber of my being that there is perfect harmony in and through all appearances and experiences. ~Dr. Nan Hutton, Th.D, Member, Center for Spiritual Living Greater Boston

Reading

Living the Science of Mind, by Dr. Ernest Holmes, pg. 312. A portion of that reading is...

A treatment has no Power unless it has a meaning to the one who gives it...The essence of the treatment, the feeling which the practitioner has, his [or her] interior sense of the Divine Allness, of that Spirit which is closer to him than his own breath-this cannot be put into words, this cannot be taught. It can only be felt.

Divine Ideas

Affirmation

God operates thru me always in a forever expanding limitless and timeless expression. Every idea and experience is God in action; an opportunity for self-expression to give and receive my good. ~Maria McAuliffe, RScP, Center for Spiritual Living of Greater Boston

Reading

Living the Science of Mind, by Dr. Ernest Holmes, pg. 315. A portion of that reading is...

We must know that the doorway of opportunity is never closed. [Humans]are always receptive to the Divine Ideas. It is never too late for us to manifest opportunity; t is never withheld from us for a single moment; there is no sense of limited or restricted opportunity...it is not enough to state that God is limitless, for though this abstract statement is undoubtedly true, no concrete manifestation of it can take place... until you specifically designate that it is taking place.

Make Each Treatment Complete

Affirmation

When I speak my Spiritual Mind Treatment, my consciousness fully embodies the truth that it is final, perfect, and complete. ~Vicky Barrios, Member, Center for Spiritual Living Greater Boston

Reading

Living the Science of Mind, by Dr. Ernest Holmes, pg. 316. A portion of that reading is...

Each time a treatment is given the Practitioner should feel that it is Complete and Perfect; that it is Finished and Done. The treatment is not complete until the practitioner's own consciousness accepts the verdict as Final and Perfect. In actual experience the practitioner may have to do this day after day over a period of time. ..what he does in practice is to make each treatment complete; to draw a final conclusion in each treatment, and then be willing to keep on until the case is met.

Treatment is Not Well-Wishing

Affirmation

With calm assuredness, I remember and accept all the Good that is Divinely and unequivocally mine. ~Carol Thomas, Member, Center for Spiritual Living Greater Boston

Reading

Living the Science of Mind, by Dr. Ernest Holmes, pg. 318. A portion of that reading is...

When you give a spiritual mind treatment you are not wishing that someone will be healed. You are making definite statements in the Mind Principle about some person or situation. You are not petitioning God to please do this, or that, or something else. ... Instead of asking for something, we are accepting something. Instead of hoping that something will happen, we are endeavoring to know that it has happened or is happening.

Loose the Consciousness

Affirmation

I am open to receiving more of Life’s Unlimited Greatness.

Reading

Living the Science of Mind, by Dr. Ernest Holmes, pg. 339. A portion of that reading is...

A certain time should be taken each day for the enlargement of consciousness. This is done by reminding our imagination that the field with which it deals is Limitless, that Mind is the Creator and the Sustainer, that Mind is Infinite, ever available, and always responsive to us... No matter how much good we experience today, we should expect more tomorrow.
