Our Need for Forgiveness

Affirmation

I rejoice that the Kingdom of God is within and supplies everything I could want or need. ~Nan Hutton, Th.D, Practitioner Intern, CSL Greater Boston

Reading

Living the Science of Mind, by Dr. Ernest Holmes, pg. 400. A portion of the reading is…

Everything moves in circles. This is the way of life, and what we refuse to give we refuse to accept. Nothing is more important that that we learn how to forgive both ourselves and others. The great lesion we learn from this is that it is impossible for us to feel relief and release from self-condemnation while we bear condemnation toward others.

The Will to Live

Affirmation

I create the Perfect plan for my life by choosing the Perfect thoughts. ~Lee Ann Nixon, Practitioner Intern, CSL Greater Boston

Reading

Living the Science of Mind, by Dr. Ernest Holmes, pg. 405.  A portion of that reading is…

It takes less energy to live constructively that it does to live destructively. It takes no energy to have faith, while fear devastates such energy as we have. It takes no energy to love; it is hate that is destructive…It does not take mental or physical energy to build up hope; it is despair that blocks us. All it takes is faith.

Spiritual Conviction, Guest Speaker Penney R. Shaw, RScP

Affirmation

I accept the Truth that heaven on earth is my Divine birthright. ~Carol Thomas, Practitioner Intern, CSL Greater Boston

Reading

Living the Science of Mind, by Dr. Ernest Holmes, pg. 418. A portion of the reading is…

Going into the silence does not mean that either our mental or our physical reactions are obliterated, for if they were we should pass into oblivion. We are not trying to discover how to be less ourselves, but how to be more ourselves. Here in our Secret Place of the Most High, the inner chamber of our own soul, are written the sacred words. I AM. It is from this consciousness, this I AM, conceived in silent recognition, that Power flows.

The Silence

Affirmation

In the silence I enter the sanctuary of my Consciousness, I hear the heartbeat of my Soul, and I feel the warmth of Divine love. ~Maria McAulliffe, RScP, CSL Greater Boston

Reading

Living the Science of Mind, by Dr. Ernest Holmes, pg. 410. A portion of that reading is…

A [person] without spiritual conviction cannot hope to make the same use of the Creative Power of his thought as the one who has it. We must deliberately play with the idea that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, that the Kingdom of God is within.

Happiness

Affirmation

I am secure that I belong to Life and therefore know True happiness. ~Vicky Barrios, Practitioner Intern, CSL Greater Boston

Reading

Living the Science of Mind, by Dr. Ernest Holmes, pg. 431. A portion of that reading is…

Happiness must be based on an inward sense of security, a sense of belonging to life and to each other; a desire to give, to be kind and compassionate, and to be able to put ourselves in the other person’s position. The stream of Life flow fully and freely from the innermost recesses of our being only when we are happy.
